8. Overseas disclosures

Because we operate internationally, we may disclose personal information to recipients located outside Australia, for example, in the United States (colleges and universities), the United Arab Emirates (tour/event arrangements), and other countries where academies, clubs, partners or service providers are located.

Where we disclose personal information overseas, we will take reasonable steps to ensure the recipient handles the information in a manner consistent with Australian privacy requirements, unless an exception applies under the Privacy Act (for example, if you consent to the disclosure after being informed of the consequences).

10. Children and minors

Many of our Services involve athletes under 18. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must provide consent for collection and use of your personal information where required, and may need to complete forms or provide documentation on your behalf.

You can manage cookies through your browser settings. If you disable cookies, some parts of the Website may not function properly.

13. Marketing communications

We may send marketing communications about our programs, tours and opportunities where you have requested information, subscribed, or where otherwise permitted by law. You can opt out at any time by using the unsubscribe link in an email, replying STOP to SMS (if offered), or by contacting us.

14. Storage and security

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference and loss, and from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Measures may include access controls, encryption where appropriate, staff training, and secure cloud-based systems.

No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. While we take reasonable steps to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

15. Retention and destruction

When information is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to destroy it or de-identify it, unless we are required or authorised by law to retain it.

16. Unsolicited personal information

If we receive personal information that we did not request, we will determine whether we could have collected that information under the Privacy Act. If we could not, we will take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify it (unless we are required or authorised by law to retain it).
